It was completely gloomy and grey outside on the weekend so we looked for bright moments inside.
A beautiful bunch of spring blooms.
A visit to Sharp Works yarn shop at Herne Hill and I was attracted to these delicious colours. I'm contemplating some baby knitting for upcoming arrivals.
My little blossom having lunch at Cafe Provencal. Where has my baby gone? 15 months to the day..
And for my second Ravelympics project I finished this cosy Crofter's Cowl in Malabrigo worsted in time for the tail end of winter. Unfortunately woolens are still required. This is a fabulous pattern - would make a nice gift and only took a few hours to knit up.
Beautiful cowl, Hels! Have you ever considered being a chin model? :)
It's amazing how much Sophie's grown since her early photos! OMG! All sophisticate and out to lunch already. Must be a Stewie. :)
How are you? You seem good. I'm always inspired by your craftiness and getting to pine after the gorgeous colors in the threads and fabrics you choose.
I'm well.
Patiently awaiting spring arrivals through the final wintry rainy days, although our almond trees have blossomed out with beautiful pink fluff, reminding me that sunshine isn't far away.
I'm also trying to be patient waiting for our new little one to come out. The muffin is kicking the laptop as I write...only a couple of typos. :)
I'm surprised at how pregnancy feels like a short time and yet seems to last forever. We're at 30 weeks now. Only 10 more to go!!!
Give my love to all and say hello to the elders if they're still there. Mum told me they were going on a roadtrip, but was quite secretive (as only she can be) about their destination...she forgot to mention it was a roadtrip on the M-5!! :)
Spring blessings of sunshine!
