We're having a "stay-cation" this Easter weekend but at the last minute decided to spend one night at the Fisherman's Huts at Whitstable. Being out of London and by the sea even just for a couple of days was a huge mental lift.

We went for a walk and discovered the hundreds of beach huts perched on the grassy hill above the shore.
They were all painted individual colours, mostly bright and cheery.
Quiet now but it must be heaving with people in summer.
This was the only neglected hut I saw. It looks like its decided to sit down for a little rest.

Awwww shame.
Sophie enjoyed her first visit to the seaside although I don't think she was impressed with the pebbly beach.
What a fun spot for a short stay and the cottages are so cute.I see you had more good weather - very weather conscious here at present,almost have webbed feet!
