Whenever anyone we know meets Sophie for the first time they look at her, look at me and then very cautiously say...."She looks like her dad... doesn't she?" Just a little bit. I was beginning to wonder if she was my daughter.
But Mum has saved the day...she has been going through the old family albumns (LOVE the 70's!) and sent me some pics. With a bit of imagination I think she *kind of* looks like me as a baby.
The photo on the left is me at 4 months with my Uncle Jim and the photo on the right is Soph with her Auntie Naomi at 3 months to the day. Is it just me or is there a little bit of resemblance there?
This one is a classic....love that beard Dad! With Grandma Stewart. I definitely see Sophie in that expression....

Oh the resemblance is very strong!
In our family it is well strange how everyone looks at different points exactly like *either* my Mum or my Dad. It certainly changes according to age and now we all look a lot like both of them... but you'll occasionally chance on a photo and be like 'wow, doesn't Ned look like Pops?' or whatever.
