Blogiversary givaway week 2

Last week I discovered that crafty people are not so often on the receiving end of handmade gifts which makes sense I guess. I think they are all the more appreciative of handmade pressies when they do receive them though.

To be in it to win it for this week's giveaway of a pretty pink and green Circular Needle Holder leave a comment and let me know what your favourite colour combination is. No prizes for guessing mine at the moment......

Circular Needle Pouch outside

It is padded with some batting to protect the needles and fits about 8 sets of circular needles ranging in size from about 2.5mm to 8mm. The middle stripe is twill tape for decoration or I thought it could be used for writing the needle size on with a fabric marker. And it is very much a prototype at this stage.

Apart from this little burst of sewing and some more knitting on Buttony we had a fairly quiet long weekend. The main excitement was a couple of disturbed nights due to intruder cats coming in to share the girls dinner. This sets Misty off with her unholy yowling noise (as she cowers under our bed for protection) and gets my heart racing when I wake up to a big strange cat strolling into our bedroom at 3am. Last night was a shocker and rather than sorting it out on the weekend like we meant to ....tonight is "put magnets on the cats" night - so rock and roll. Minnow will be fine....it is getting close enough to Misty that will be the challenge. Any suggestions from timid, flighty cat owners gratefully appreciated!

oooooooooh pretty! my favorite color combo is tangerine and aqua. but that's just this month.

Glad you're spending some time resting, as well as crafting! My fave combo is choc brown and pale blue. :-)

Ooh, red and cream at the moment.

My mogs are easily bribed when necessary with either fresh prawns or these Whiskas things called Temptations. I swear, they are kitty crack.

Frushia/Teal

Gorgeous roll! I have too many favorite color combos, but pink and orange is kind of a different one that looks fabulous and cheerful.

I think my favourite colour combination has to be hot pink and black. The former colours of my hair. Unfortunately my hair is once again a "normal" colour, but the hot pink and black combination keeps on popping up in my wardrobe and craft projects.

My favorite color combination is light blue and white. =)

Turquoise and brown (so overused but I still love it!!)

Love the wrap!

Miyuki

purple and yellow

Purple and green. Or....anything!!!

My personal favorite is actually green and pink in those colors almost to the exact! I'm even in a flickr group that is called Green and Pink - it's a yummy combo! :-)

Happy blogiversary!

I love bright pink and green together but a close second is orange and purple.

My absolute favourite colour combo has got to be orange and yellow.

I love most colors, but especially pink and brown. A very beautiful needle holder you made!

Brown and aqua at the moment. That is a cute needle roll... Mine is great for my crochet hooks, but not so good for circular knitting needles, so I'm intrigued by your design!
