Socks

Phew! its been a hectic week since arriving back from NYC on Tuesday morning and shooting straight in on the Heathrow express to work. We had a very fun Wednesday night knitting at Leon near Liberty and then drinks with a friend last night. Tonight we are driving down to Dorset for some walking along the coast path. Then to Rugby 6 nations game in Cardiff Sunday afternoon before back to London to attempt to regroup for work next week. In the meantime the house is not in a good state and there are extension cords running out of all the rooms due to a blown fuse we haven't had a chance to fix. Yikes.

In the meantime my head is just buzzing with all the craft projects i want to work on, inspired by some purchases from Purl - knitting and fabric, not to mention the cute cute cute Japanese craft books I found at Kinokuniya. Wow. Breathe.

Last time I was at Purl I was really new to knitting and hadn't done much at all. This time I had a different perspective and was looking at the potential with fresh eyes. Until my credit card was declined that is :)

I bought some of my new favourite yarn the Blue Sky Alpaca and Silk in this gorgeous new colour.

I'm thinking about either Diamante or Falling Leaves as potential (sock) projects.

Someone else with a new interest in socks....look at these lucious stripes.
