I only bought a couple of things in NY from Purl fabrics but I just couldn't resist this Lightning Bugs bundle. By that stage I had a couple of Japanese craft books in my hot little hands including the famous "Machine Made Patchworks" with the "wedgie bag". I think these fabrics would be perfect for this project...
This log cabin quilt from the same book is also giving me ideas...
PS I managed to fix the blown fuse tonight so the study is back in power.
I keep wimping out of the log cabin quilt (for the 'me' quilt) and then I see that and remember that was why I wanted to make a quilt in the first place.
And viva l'electricity...
